There is just so much to say for this soulful, sweet, older lady. Winnie was rescued in the fall and adopted by a loving lady. She thought she had it made! Winnie barely escaped a southern shelter where she was overlooked because she's more advanced in years. Sadly, her mom's work schedule has changed and Winnie isn't getting to spend the kind of time that she needs to with the person she loves. Winnie's mom would like to find her a place where she's alone for less hours each day. She tells us that Winnie is the PERFECT girl- easygoing, calm, and eager to please. Her most favorite days are "family days" when grandchildren come to visit. Winnie is excellent with children, and does well with other dogs and cats as long as they give her some space. She's a soufful, beautiful lady who would like a soft place to land. She can also be quite peppy and energetic, particularly when she gets a chance to go for walks or play in the yard!
